Jon’s insurance career began with Target Life in the mid 70’s (platform shoes, turn ups and rather too much hair) then moved into the IFA field before taking his Chartered exams along the way.
Keen to expand his experience within the insurance industry he joined a life syndicate at Lloyd’s in the early 1990’s, where he learnt much about the wholesale market process. Jon remains involved in the Lloyd’s community, with Lutine writing the majority of its risk business using Lloyd’s paper.
Having moved to his current position with Lutine in 2001 Jon has been involved in the forefront of developing the business to where it is today.
“I have been privileged to be involved during an exciting time in our development. We have developed some great ideas and have some fantastic plans in the pipeline and are as busy as ever with day-to-day activity. All this hard work leaves little time for play - some would comment that’s for the best given my rather wild swings on the green when I do manage to get out.”

After a brief spell in the banking industry, Marc’s insurance career began over 14 years ago with Bain Clarkson where he was lucky enough to get a good insurance grounding in a variety of roles before moving to London to work for Lloyd’s broker PYV.
After eighteen months of working as an Account Executive, Marc was approached, and decided to join Lloyd’s syndicate Crowe Life, where he became heavily involved in the marketing, development and strategy of the business.
He stayed at Crowe, which later became part of Sterling Life, for 5 years. Following a brief stint as a Consultant, Marc spent 18 months with Marsh helping to manage their UK VEB programme.
Now at Lutine, Marc’s role as Business Development Manager is both varied and challenging, as you would expect working within a dynamic and fast moving organisation.
Outside of work, Marc unwinds by spending time with friends and family and indulges in his other passions, football, cooking, music and films.

With a passion for cooking Martin trained as a chef after leaving Business College. In the late eighties Martin decided to became a financial adviser with Equity & Law Life Assurance Society where he obtained a good knowledge of products and the broker market before joining AIG and working for their Personal Accident Division. Still with AIG Martin moved to their Employee Benefits Division where, with responsibility for offices in Bristol and Birmingham, he became involved in the sales and marketing of Group products throughout the UK.
Spending some 16 years working within the AIG Employee Benefits Division Martin helped develop a new Voluntary Benefits Programme which added to their suite of products.
Martin now brings his experience, knowledge and skills to Lutine. There can be no doubt he will make a notable contribution to the development and progress of Lutine as they seek to place themselves in the forefront of the UK Protection Market.
Outside work Martin's hobbies include reading, gym, football, history, cinema, clay pigeon shooting, IT, antique collecting, cooking and travelling.

After joining Royal Life as a Personal Assistant to a Sales Consultant, Dawn then moved on to Scottish Provident where she stayed for 10 years.
